Celebrating Cornwall’s creative talent

Falmouth’s Events Square is delighted to be hosting a brand new exciting event. This August bank holiday weekend will see the launch of the first ever Summer fest.

Hosted by Outset, the festival style FREE event will celebrate the very best of Cornwall’s talent. Browse a plethora of arts and crafts stalls selling bespoke goods from handcrafted jewellery and furniture to designer swimwear and vintage clothing and feast on an eclectic range of international cuisine.

The Square will take on a party atmosphere as you enjoy entertainment from talented local musicians, experience the delights of a catwalk fashion show, be enthralled by martial arts performances and join in fitness demonstrations.

With children’s entertainment and a fun beach hut selfie photo booth, you’re guaranteed a Bank Holiday weekend guaranteed to keep everyone happy.

12pm | Soothe Away the Stress
A demonstration of ‘No Hands’ and seated massage by Kate King of Holistic Health guaranteed to chill you right out.

12.30pm | Get Fit with Fiona
Personal trainer Fiona Hartley shows you how exercising can help you stay healthy in mind and body.

1pm | Boxing Clever with Beccy
Willing volunteers will be sought to assist fitness instructor Beccy Seymour as she demonstrates the appeal of Boxercise.

1.30pm | Martial Arts Display
Leon Holland of Trinity Education Academy of Martial Science and his group of skilled martial artists perform an awe-inspiring display.

2.15pm | Strutting their Stuff
An exclusive appearance on the Events Square catwalk of fashion designers’ Holly Boxall and Rachel Miles range of bespoke swimwear and custom made vintage clothing.

3pm | A Taste of the Sixties
Frontman of highly acclaimed local band, The Viewers, Paul Eustice performs a rare acoustic set of 1960s-influenced original songs.

4pm | A Voyage of Musical Discovery
Cornish singer, songwriter and guitarist Jamie Bridger entertains with his eclectic mix of rearranged covers and original music inspired by his travels around the world and life in his homeland.

By Train
