The Biggest Events at Events Square, Falmouth

Welcome to Falmouth Festivals

Falmouth Festivals are responsible for the annual programme of activities on Events Square in Falmouth. The area in front of the National Maritime Museum Cornwall has hosted hundreds of events since 2005, from Ellen McArthur’s triumphant return from her recording breaking Round the World Voyage to the annual Falmouth Oyster Festival. Sea Shanty Festivals, Falmouth Week Entertainment Marquee, BBC Antique Roadshow, Shelterbox’s Big Charity Sleepover, Arts & Crafts Beach Hut markets to the Fal Fish Festivals are just some of the diverse events that attract large numbers of the public, both local and visitors.

In addition to the above events, Falmouth Festivals has played host to both the 2008 and more recently the hugely successful 2014 Falmouth Tall Ships Regatta entertainment on Events Square, The Docks and Church St Car Park. This event attracted over 100,000 people to the town throughout which Falmouth truly shone!

Falmouth Week on the Moor

Falmouth Week on The Moor time: 10-5pm The Moor plays host to a variety of activities and entertainment during the week, including live music, children’s craft, fairground rides and markets. The Moor will be transformed with outside seating and a bar, so you can sit back, relax in a deck chair and soak up the sunshine. 5th, 6th, 7th, 10th and 12th August Creation Station Workshops time: 10am-1pm The multi-award winning Creation Station will be running a series of family friendly workshops on The Moor throughout the week. Unleash the wonder within, through fun arts and crafts including the highly-anticipated Willow Fish Workshop and the Great Mouse Regatta! 8th, 9th and 11th August Falmouth Art Gallery Workshops time: 11-3pm Come and join the Falmouth Art Gallery on The Moor for fun arts and crafts in the falmouth week activity marquee.
